Pros

The tips were the only good thing about working here. Honestly nothing else was good about working here. Plus you have to work weekends!

Cons

Management are very unprofessional racist uneducated and made her schedule only to benefit herself. The hourly rate was awful. We had mice in my location E Boughton Rd in Bolingbrook.

We are sorry to read about your frustrations with the management while you worked in the salon. Because each location is independently owned and operated, the best person to address your comments would be the franchisee. If you would like to share more, please email Jeanne@greatclips.com with the salon location where you were employed and details. We will forward it to the franchisee for you. If you prefer to be anonymous, please let us know and we will provide your feedback anonymously. Thank you.

Pros

There are none but, I'm being forced to write more when I don't have 20 words to say. You can work here and find out for yourself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons

Working full time 30-40 hours every two weeks you take home less than $500. This company is disgusting. How do you expect people to make a living? Don't even add tips because great clips clientele is cheap!! These people tip, if they tip you anything 2-3 dollars. Your lucky if you take home $100 in a week. No medical benefits what so ever. You have children in their 20's who manage these places. Not only do you have to be a stylist at $7.25-$9 but, you also have to be the receptionist too. Grounds for a lawsuit... ZERO education and training available. Very boring because you can only cut hair with limited creativity. Truly the people who run this pyramid scheme should be ashamed of how little they pay and take care if its employees. They will say, "it's franchised own" to put the responsibility on others but, you greedy corporate devils lay the foundation for your employees to live in poverty.

We are sorry that you are frustrated with your compensation. Since each salon is independently owned and operated, individual franchisees may use a number of different factors to determine a stylist's total compensation. If you'd like, you can email Jeanne@greatclips.com with the salon location & details. We will provide it to your franchisee. If you prefer to be anonymous, please let us know and we will forward it anonymously for you. Thank you.

Pros

Tons of hours, opportunity to have lots of clients

Cons

Franchise stores - run kind of like McDonalds - each store has the same general outline but the rules from one place to the next aren't the same. Mixed messages can get confusing
