Pros

Decent Benefits, hours were flexible, I worked with really nice people and learning all things Italian. Loved the brands.

Cons

WARNING****They DO NOT do background checks, and for me, that made me really uncomfortable and worried for my safety. You don't know who you're really hiring. Once I found that out, my whole attitude changed. It made me quit. Job was not what was asked, it was disguised as something completely different.

Pros

The only pros about this company is that you get paid every week and you get free lunch--It's not all the great.

Cons

Management is horrible. There is a high turn over rate and you really feel replaceable. The management does a really good job of making you feel unappreciated. To top things off, the people who are hired at Eataly have no passion for what they do. You get the bare minimum in terms of job satisfaction and although there is movement in the company--thus, high turn over rate-- you don't get paid much for extra work. This holds especially true in the stores in the U.S.A.

Pros

Great coworkers, good discounts and classes

Cons

Management doesn't know how to manage. Most of them come from smaller companies, so their experience is not relevant to such a big company. Managers need to be trained first before they even allowed on the floor. Also, no growth in the company, or at least it's very hard to move up the ladder
