This company will drain the life out of you. - Gender inequality - No career progression - Very little/no salary increase - High employee turnover - False hope of career progression - Micro management - Increase workload with no salary increase - Minimal bonus - The working environment is hostile and unfriendly - You will not socially fit in if you are not French/Italian

Pros

SAMPLE SALES! 40-50% discount if you like the brand. Very digitally focussed. Ok commission per sale.

Cons

Employees quit their bosses, not the company. High staff turnover, leaving parties for people all the time. Nasty remarks from higher management. "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" mentality between managers. Managers don't communicate with each other, you are told to do one thing and another comes along with another plan. Low salary, "exciting" bonuses and incentives that add up to nothing. Boring bi-weekly training sessions, clearly little enthusiasm and genuine interest from the managers. No opportunity to move up the career ladder, if your manager loves you then maybe you have a slim chance. Not much work/life balance. High emphasis on relating EVERYTHING to heritage Burberry, with little true reasoning. You need to make up stories for products to sound elevated and worth the silly price tag- sell the story you make money. You need to convince yourself that everything Burberry looks AMAZING and is INCREDIBLE and OH-MY-I-CANT-LIVE-WITHOUT-IT!
