Pros

-The offices are nice -Sample sales -Free fruit and lunch -They raise a lot of money for charity There are no more pros that I can think of

Cons

They have a very negative way of managing people and this creates a very tense culture and an unhappy place to work. The people are very contrived as everyone has to act a certain way to fit in and gain approval from upper management. During busy periods you could be working until 11pm at night and weekends with no appreciation shown whatsoever. Working relationships are fake and everyone seems to speak badly of each other behind one an others backs. There is no socialisling out of the office at all. The majority of people do not seem happy in their jobs but value the perceived status they gain by saying they work at Burberry enough to accept the bullying that goes on with the attitude 'you just get used to it'. Not for me thanks, the worst place I have ever worked.

Pros

Sad free sandwich and Walkers crisps for lunch provided

Cons

The business is being run to the ground. Money is being spent ferociously on marketing that isn't seeing any return on investment while they undervalue staff. Bullying is riff and actively ignored by HR (even after numerous complaints by staff from several different departments) Leadership is nonexistent, we aren't given a road map of where the business is going or why. It's a shambles.

Pros

They technically have some quite ok benefits but its all a front just to give the illusion that they care for the staff. Don't fool for it. Doesn't amount to much in the end.

Cons

Where to start…. Toxic atmosphere, poor management, terrible career progression, awful working hours, no respect for health or wellbeing. Don't pay people their full holiday or lieu days at the end of contract. Design department is particularly bad for the above reasons and people are burnt out because of it. As of recent long term members of staff have been let go with not even a days notice, no loyalty to the staff as they see you as replaceable objects. A huge amount to work on in this company. Its a real shame because they give the illusion of a very above board company with many charitable programmes etc yet treat their own staff like slaves.
