Pros

• Lots of training provided, helpful coworkers and upper management. • Free fruit in the morning and free lunch which is very varied and changes every week. • Lots if benefits including eye test vouchers and Bike to Work program. • 40-50% discount in stores and online. • Sample sales once in a while. • Good holiday allowance and Winter and Summer days off and/or shortened working hours. • The CEO and upper management always keep in touch with their employees through meetings and get-togethers • Open plan office area which is very warm and welcoming meaning that you're never isolated and you can always ask for help. • Lots of discount with various partners such as gym, dry cleaners and beauty salons. • The list could go on and on it's just amazing!

Cons

• Even if technically possible, you cannot work from home. • Sometimes the pressure can be overwhelming due to all the deadlines and meetings and reviews. • There is a sort of stiffness in the way things are done, and although they try to work on it, it never improves. • Outdated POS systems means that a lot of work involves correcting and analysing errors that could be avoided altogether. • Corporate management systems means that you will have to sit through a lot of meetings and seminars that only steals your own time that could be spent on work, meaning that sometimes you will have to stay longer than the contracted hours.

Pros

Has potential to be a great company if they started hiring better GMs and AGMs.

Cons

Starting off, you only make 1% commission and the work load is insane, the pay is not worth it at all. Upper management enjoys giving out write ups over anything making everyone miserable. Employees barely last 6 months with the company. Favoritism is a big problem. If you want to move up with company, do not think you can in this one, especially if you don't fit their "profile". Excellent talent is going to waste, some associates have been with the company for 3-10 years and are kept in the same position. They do not care about their employees, only the business itself. We had some work environment issues and none got sent home, associates had to stay and clean everything up instead of having everyone move out of harm's way.
