Pros

The only pros to working at this location is the neighborhood, the private employee sales and the employee discount.

Cons

Management is horrific. There is bullying by management and they belittle the employees in front of each other and behind closed doors. HR was called many times regarding this but for some strange reason nothing seems to change. They need to clean house here.

Pros

Great discount (40% to 50%) sample sale perks with an awesome offerings for super good price (up to 90% of RRP). Quite generous holiday pack. Good sick leave package Good company shares scheme (Free shares and opportunity to buy shares at the discounted rate with no risk of losing what you've invested, take home the same or what you gained). It is a good company to be associated with and have it on CV. At the end of the day is iconic British brand. Good starting point if you want to get into luxury retails.

Cons

Working hours to long. Rotas never balanced. Limited career opportunities, no growth, they will hire someone externally rather than promote someone internally. Working culture in store is very volatile. Managers are incompetent, do not look out for their team and do not develop. Head office very long hours and they expect you to work overtime which is not paid. Managing people out when face doesn't ft the business in very old fashioned way by using PIP (Performance Improvement Plan). Micromanaging is very popular or they do not manage you at all. There is not middle ground with that. It is one extreme to another. Do not like part time employees and trying to manage them out of the business. Targets do not meet the actual market trends are almost unachievable. Clienteling is the new focus and Sales Associates under big pressure to deliver virtual and real appointments and building relationships withe the customers. The brand is very dependable on tourists and not very popular with locals. They run you down for money that they pay you, but they don't pay you enough for work that you are asked to do.

Pros

The commission was good, decent pay

Cons

- Racist, Tyrant managers in their outlet stores - Horrific management and representation of the brand - Managers will make sure to find a way to torment you if you speak out for yourself or do not submit to them ‘ruling’ the store and being center of attention at all times - management have treated young people disgustingly in this store and unfortunately gotten away with it because of the fear they have created - very fake working environment with miserable people - not good place to work long term if you care about your mental health and have goals and ambitions LEAVE with a quickness
