Pros

Ability to work from home in current climate

Cons

- Morale drained staff - Employ "anyone" regardless of ability to do the job - Dead end progression - False hope and promise of change to retain staff - Senior management "Bring your old mate to work with you" - Hire externally for any new positions - Multiple employee engagement surveys with the same result - Staff are unappreciated, no training, no progression - Targets and objectives based on how quickly a call is answered, cases closed in a month and customer feedback. - Desk is ran like a Customer service function, but expected to be technical across multiple platforms - The middle man of Burberry

Pros

Medical and dental benefits, compensation wasn't terrible

Cons

Discrimination against physical appearance, racism is acceptable and displayed by management, human resources unhelpful to resolve poor management, excuse-driven gossip, poor accountability, aggressive micromanagement, doesn't acknowledge work/life balance. Slow to move up and pretends to exercise diversity to appear cultura. HIGH TURNOVER

Pros

Free fruit, nice work colleagues, and nice office building.

Cons

Toxic environment, for example, the management team will tell you off for going to the bathroom for more than 20 minutes in total on a 9 hours shift. They encourage the competition between work colleagues for the sales, that the agent will not receive any commissions for. The pressure to making sales is really high, and if you do not target their numbers, the manager will sit with the agent on his/her desk to listen to every interaction and criticizes every single detail of your work. The pressure environment and not reward policy gave a lot of collegues burnt out and anxiety issues.
