I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Octopus Energy (Manchester, Inghilterra) in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process was so different to any other I have had before and was so fun & really made me want to get involved with Octopus more! For my first interview I had a chat with Laura from Instant Impact who helped me from start to finish (she was brilliant!) I succeeded in this and had a Discovery Day along with other candidates and current employees to chat about Octopus, have a group task and a 1-2-1 interview with someone else. Laura prepped me for this on what to expect during the day and it was nice to speak to current employees who work in different departments - my advice is to learn as much as you can about octopus and if you were excited as I was then you will definitely want to learn more! I then had a maths & english test, which I was worried about as I hadn’t done any of this since school but Laura again helped with making sure I revised etc. Then lastly I went into the Octopus office to have a chat with some staff who work there! All in all lengthy but definitely worth if if you want to learn more about Octopus!!

Interview
Took about a month, from first interview to last stage. Was a draining experience as felt like a part time job in its self. Unfortunately didn’t get offered the job, wouldn’t have felt so bad if I didn’t get so far into the process. I understand they wanted the right candidate but to get to a stage 6 roughly of an interview process to say no felt disheartening.

Interview
Long interview process. Was done over a few different days. It was a good experience but I just thought it didn’t need to be so long winded considering the salary and job role. However seems like a great company to work for.
