Octopus Energy Big Data Engineer interview questions

Three interviews, one technology task, followed by accepting a conditional offer. They attempted to do vetting and reference checks after they wanted me to give notice. Also this process involved uploading personal details to questionable third parties. It was a very strange move for a company that claims to put employees first. I did not feel as though they valued their potential employees after adding my documents to a facial recognition database. After meeting those requirements, I received radio silence. I have since retracted the acceptance of my offer.
