I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Minneapolis, MN) in Jan 2013
Interview
Initial phone interview just to go over my resume and probably make sure I was a normal person. Was offered an interview in person but declined because the pay was only $7.50/hr plus commission, which still was really bad for someone with a Bachelor's degree (he said his best sales advisor averages about $12-14/hr).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They all were pretty basic questions about why you like sales, why LA Fitness, do you lead a healthy life, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Long Beach, CA)
Interview
I submitted my application online and then went in person a few weeks later to check up on it. I got lucky and the Ops Manager was working the front and pulled me aside for a 2 sec interview then pulled me to his desk for a 5 minute interview and offered me a part-time position to start.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Hemet, CA) in Jul 2012
Interview
I was referred by an employee. I had to speak with two managers a few times before I was interviewed. The interview was done by both managers and was hired on the spot. I was told that the job was challenging and if I couldn't do it, I had to let them know right then and there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked if I was willing to drop everything I was doing on a day off to cover someone else's shift.
