The questions were interesting and people were nice. The whole process was rather long. Four interviews, each one hour long, and take home assignment.
I have e-mailed with at least 4 HR people, which was a little confusing.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Londra, Inghilterra) in Feb 2021
Interview
Giant waste of time. After going through the entire software engineer interview process and being up front about my role and salary expectations, they offered me a role less senior than the one I am in now as well as a lower base salary than my current base salary. This is after I got a "Yes" from every interview round, including two "Strong Yes"'s from the system design round. The reason for such a bad offer? Apparently I didn't add enough unit tests to my homework exercise. So, why bother? Hours of time spent doing a homework exercise, preparing for interviews, and interviewing, and they offer me less than I currently earn. I was fully upfront about my expectations for title and salary.
