I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Singapore) in Jun 2020
Interview
Overall experience is enjoyable and professional. The recruiter is very helpful and provide timely feedback and updates along the interview process. The recruiter also shared enough information on the interview process and shared on a high level the skillset needed for the role.
There was enough time to prepare for the case study round and the subsequent 2 1:1 rounds of interview. You'll need to demonstrate understanding and be able to back up your recommendations with the data provided for the case study.
Behavioural, Crisis management and some data analysis questions were also asked during the interview.

Question 1
How do you motivate your staff if there are no current opening for career advancement?
Had 8 interviews in total. I started in September with a Operations team which was quite professional. Unfortunately I failed the interview and the operations manager was kind enough to provide me with feedback. Then the nightmare begun. I was then referred internally (by the ops manager who interviewed me first and another ops manager that interviewed me later) to another ops team, and another one.. and another one. Totalling 8 interviews with 4 different teams for more than three months. Each time I was tasked with logical problems, powerpoint presentations (one team didn't even bother looking at the presentation after giving me less than 24 hours to prepare it), case studies, creative exercises etc.
The funniest part is that I was rejected by each manager for not having the exact operational experience the role required to be referred by the same person to another operations team!
I believe a company should put selection processes in place to know whether a candidate is a fit for the role, rather than having them coming to the office every each time only to give the same exact response.
