I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Nov 2015
Interview
I went to a bilingual people jobs' fair in Amsterdam and I met Booking.com's recruiters. They interviewed me on the spot and I was invited to the following group assessment. During the group assessment they introduced the company, they made us take a languange test for the languages the position was for (for me it was Italian and English) - the test was both a written one multiple choices and a conversation on the phone with an employee -, finally they made us go through individual interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you think the job is like, how would you put the customer at the center of everything you do, how do you think your skills would fit this position etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Booking.com (Londra, Inghilterra) in Sep 2016
Interview
I have been called to talk regarding my previous employments by a very poor english speaker, asking generic questions like why i want to leave my current job, why booking.com and tell me about a time when you delivered great customer service, a question later repeated in the interview at their office.
Once i have been invited into the office i have passed two tests, one for english and one for the language i applied for. The interview was your generic interview, same questions as on the phone plus availability. After they have simulated a call for me to answer and solve with my best skills.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Booking.com in Aug 2016
Interview
Interview process included: online application and a phone interview.
Online application was quiet intersting, but they have 104 personal questions, that can be pretty annoying. There were 2 language tests also.
