I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin in Feb 2026
Interview
Got reached out via email about some screening questions to where I was scheduled for a technical interview. During the interview, the interviewer wasn't told on how to conduct it and to reach out to the recruiter. It started off with questions about my background and then why blue. Then for 15 mins, I had to solve an AI assisted hackerrank where I had to debug a todo list. Then I was told for the panel interviews I had to create a portfolio on a project which I choose a prev internship experience. For the 3 separate panel interviews I never presented the project and instead answered more leadership questions followed by a technical assessment. The first was more math heavy based on percentiles, second was a technical talk, third was a weird variation of counting the number of children in a tree. I had to reach out the recruiter after 2 weeks for an update after.

Question 1
What's the difference between an array and a linked list?
Interviewed with recruiter and hiring manager. The recruiter asked standard questions - salary requirements, why Blue Origin, work experience, etc. The hiring manager asked more detailed questions but I was not aligned to his vision for the role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Huntsville, AL) in Mar 2026
Interview
Three back-to-back interviews with hiring managers with each being for one hour. They were hiring for two positions in their pipe shop.
Most of the questions were in STAR format and the technical questions were focused on process engineering.
