I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Kent, WA) in Oct 2025
Interview
I had two rounds of interviews before the last panel interview which was 3 hours long. First meeting was with a recruiter and was behavioral, then an interview with same recruiter with some slight behavioral question but mostly behavioral again, last 3 back to back interview for a panel interview.
Typical Amazon-type interview process. They have you write an essay about your interest in human space exploration which isn't difficult, but it's unclear if it's actually reviewed. They only do 1 on 1 interviews which can be time consuming. Heavy focus on the Blue Origin leadership principles. Having been through these at Blue Origin and Amazon, they feel overly structured and take away from the ability to have a conversation but depending on the interviewer you get can still be a good experience.
