Question 1
When you see a failed composite part, how would you go about to fix it?
I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Kent, WA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Interviewed for an avionics hardware development position. Started with a phone interview where I just described the projects I worked on. The on-site interview (Kent) consisted of a presentation of my main research project, several one-on-one interviews, and an informal lunch interview. The interview experience was very good since everybody was very nice to me. I spent equal time talking about my projects and answering basic technical questions ranging from circuit design, software, controls, simulation, and mechanical engineering. The technical questions start of very easy and become harder to see how much you know.
The overall recruiting experience was very pleasant. The recruiters promptly answered my questions, gave me extensions when I needed, and the overall impression I got was very welcoming.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Origin
Interview
Applied online, was contacted within two weeks by HR to see if I was interested in a phone interview. Had a phone interview the following week with one of the Propulsion team managers, mostly going through my resume. Was contacted within a couple of days to set up an on-site interview, which was with a panel of 5 engineers and strictly technical. You are asked to make a 40 minute presentation of your work to the panel, they ask technical questions there, then you break up for individual 30-40 min interviews with each engineer.
