Pros

There are no pros with Xylem. I would not recommend this job to my worst enemy! I am sorry, but there just isn't anything good I can say about Xylem. Worst job I have ever had.

Cons

Their business plan is based upon the chaos theory. I totally agree with the other reviewer it is bedlam. Biggest problem is, most of the people working there don't want to do their job and that is from the top down.

Complete bedlam. An employer of last resort.

Pros

Free tea and drinks and toilet paper.

Cons

Unbelievably high rate of turnover, although this is hidden by less than transparent management. An undeniably toxic atmosphere, caused by bullying, constant threat of redundancy , a blame culture and refusal to see the way things are. Management do play childish games. An addiction to having everything urgent to fictitious deadlines means no planning can take place and the organisation is highly ineffective and is 2 steps behind. Many employees have been off on stress leave. Beware even your toilet usage is monitored (no joke) such is the level of micro management. This company is always searching for employees, its getting even harder to get contractors to work for them, so they are having to now go even more expensive route of employing via consultancy firms. If you last 6 months it really is an achievement.

Pros

Pay is consistent with industry standards. You will be paid slightly above average. Good benefits such as dental, medical, gym reimbursement Available parking Decent and clean office space Annual bonus

Cons

Management is terrible and will not see, recognize or address the overwhelming problem it's facing with its staff. Employees are doing the job of 2-3 people. You will be overworked and it will not be acknowledged or appreciated.
