Pros

Very nice and friendly colleagues

Cons

Management doesn't care that much about employees. Some times work load is very high and management refuses to hire new people to help.

Pros

Strong CEO and a great mission. Leadership is a mixed bag

Cons

Unable to figure out how to become a technology driven company. Finance is too powerful, technology leadership not strong. Result is focus on quarterly numbers at the expense of longer term investments needed to develop innovative solutions.

Pros

Having worked at a company that was acquired by Xylem, the people that I worked with truly cared about the company vision & social impact they were making.

Cons

Xylem operates as a massive start-up company, without an overarching vision. The Executive Leadership team seems inexperienced & has difficulty developing & communicating a clear vision. The cultures of the companies acquired by Xylem are over-taken within the first year of acquisition, resulting in reduced morale across the organizations. The messaging of critical communications to staff is poor, often resulting in confusion. There is a general lack of leadership throughout the organization, at all levels. The company continues to operate as individual entities - there is no overarching unity. Growth opportunities are severely limited beyond middle management level.
