Pros

good benefits, they do offer disability after they cause you to have a nervous breakdown

Cons

The company only cares about making money, they do not care about the well-being of their employees or the well-being of their customers. I had a non-pharmacist member of corporate management threaten me for not recommending a drug to treat the runny nose of an infant. I was forced to work 12 hour shifts with no break at all.

Pros

None at this point. Maybe in a year or two, when all the "boys club" is gone, there will be opportunities for fair advancement for all, not just inner circle. The only good point about Walgreens is a lot of good and hard working people, who are unfortunately struggling day to day because of very poor management.

Cons

Poor/inexperienced management, career advancement depends on connections, not experience and hard work. Boys club, very inner circle, who get promoted and keep their jobs despite of poor management, poor performance and tons of problems at the upper management level. The morale is very low.
