People I work with. Easy to "hide" in large company!

Have been told our whole department is in Simplification but thats it. Rumours abound that they are all for the chop, would be nice to be told something!

If you're in marketing they probably have an OK budget for you to play around with.

Cons

HQ really badly located in the middle of nowhere. The management is out of control, there is no clear strategy at all and if there is, nobody knows it. The fast growth has left the company in utter mess and employees are running around like confused rabbits clueless about where the carrots are. They rely heavily on technology and innovation but they've outsourced that. This kind of outsourcing and acquisition strategies are a typical sign of incompetent management who instead of operational excellence try to get by using financial muscle, leaving the employees exasperated.
