Pros

- Free Gym membership for you and a buddy - Useful for experience and development of certain skills

Cons

- Very long hours - rare that you'd have a break due to unrealistic activity expected. - Ludicrous commission structure - group commission-based, if others are lacking within your team, this equates to lower commission potential for yourself, despite hitting individual targets. - Very unprofessional senior managers - General Manager would constantly speak down to staff and behind their backs. - Little to offer in terms of progression. - Claim they offer autonomy but was constantly micro-managed by General Manager. - Given 1000's of leaflets per month and expected to distribute to individual passers-by on the street - constantly pressured by General Manager to get them out. - Extremely high employee turnover rate - you'll likely be working in a smaller than normal team and still expected to be hitting numbers.

Hi there, Thank you for leaving your comments. I am pleased to know that you made good use of the benefits and our facilities. The nature of a Sales role does involve reaching out to new potential members. The role is also competitively paid and full training is given when you are a new starter. You should receive support in your weekly 121's with your line manager to discuss progression and any concerns. I hope you took the opportunity to discuss this with your line manager? I am happy for you to discuss this with me further at peoplehub@virginactive.co.uk Many thanks,
