Pros

its great to meet people, if you want to advance its good as they support you in certain roles such as fitness instructors, the centres are generally very well maintained and looked after.

Cons

I didn't get my uniform for 2 months, pay was low compared to other leisure operators, machines in the gym took a long time to fix and was outdated, i got the feeling when i worked there that they didnt want guys on reception, i offered to work on reception to help them out when they were short but shrugged away from it even though i have worked on reception at 3 other companies. no staff socials for everyone was a very specific group of people that went out every weekend.

Pros

There used to be many. The pro is that you get a free gym membership in what are without doubt the best health clubs in the country. I never used to wake up and hate going to work but now....

Cons

Their only concern now is getting ready to float. Cut backs, disguising bonuses that aren't achievable but try and kid you in to believing that they are (some of us can work it out by ourself), penny pinching and no longer put their people first! Now being run by 'yes men' that have absolutely zero people skills! They also expect so much in terms of additional hours, but give little in return and look down their noses at you if you do leave ON TIME.

Free membership, first aid every month…I try to think about anything else….is nothing else coming to my head

Cons

Hipocrism, fake excitement, very low pay, bad management. All staff in club unhappy, managment just care about they own bonuses and stiupid fake numbers.
