      Pros

      Love the flexibility & variety of work. I genuinely enjoy what I do & feel I am rewarded for doing a great job. I am currently on the company future leader program which is a good investment into the next generation of senior management from Virgin Active. I love working with a great team and amazing atmosphere in our club & in the UK. I've worked for Virgin for 7 years and would not still be here if I didn't enjoy it. I think there is a good company ethos for looking after team such as catch up's, evaluates and performance management if these are used correctly by management staff.

      Cons

      Rate of pay is not always equivalent to other operations positions however health club sector is not always about the money, I would much rather love coming to work and work with amazing people rather than chasing a massive salary & being unhappy. There are some days when being a manager is tough and you need to have honest conversations with staff or members but its all part of the job!

      There's good people working there, free gym membership you and your friend

      Cons

      Long shifts, working 6 days a week, they rota you on for shifts without asking you. They pay you 1/12 of your annual salary, any overtime after your contracted hours, is paid a whole month in arrears.
