Pros

Great for 2 months to 6 months work providing you hit targets

Cons

This role is advertised as a 38000 pounds a year and company car and incentives like i phones and holidays sounds great, however this is not the case firstly when i first started here i was interviewed and given the role by john who was office manager at the time he was the best thing at that company when i started he mentored me and help me out with sales in my first month. Danny the regional manager explained a very complexed pay structure that you cant fully understand but in first month target was 2 in second month target was 4 and 3 month and every month after was 8 sales a month in the first month i got 5 sales and a good wage in second scored 5 so again a got a decent wage third month came i got 7 and as a result only got a basic wage . Alarm bells was ringing at this stage but i push on but the following month was the same and as i am a fantastic sales man a was beginning to doubt my self and my abilities i spoke to t the regional manager and he offered me a premotion to team leader by this time the office manager john had left due to some issue which i never found out about but the alarm bells were ringing again however stupid my carried on with a slight in crease in wage from the premotion this lasted 6 month with danny constantly telling us that he did not care about the sales consultants and only managers mattered. I have been at this company for 1 year now and i have seen over 40 members of staff come and go because of the way danny spoke to them and treat them. Just before Christmas i sent a simple message to the companies wats app group asking when the office was closing for Christmas and the next day i was threatened with my job yes danny was going to sack me for asking when office is closed from that moment i started looking for other work however in January i was depomoted for nothing at all and a new guy came to the office this was yet another bad management dicission. As now me and another long term employee have left. So if you like working for around 70 hours a week and earning around 800 pm after deductions for tax and car ECT and dont mind being abused by the boss go for it but i put my heart and soul into this company and its left nothing but a bad taste and today i have had the guts to leave please do not go near this company they are lieing to you and you are better than this please wait for another job somewhere else because you will get this job and you will regret it. P.S when you do finally get your company and thats if you do get it you will find that you pay for it montly at same cost of a brand new privete car if you paid montly but dont worry because danny will tell you that you get the money back on a petrol card but he does not tell you there is a 120 pound limit on it and believe you use alot more than this DONT DO IT n.e.i.l.f.i.n.l.e.e.d.s.o.f.f.ice

Pros

The team I worked with were a nice bunch and even the manager, despite his blindness to how bad this company really is.

Cons

The “team leaders” are because they’ve sold well in the past. They have no clue on leading a team and they couldn’t care less about their teams either, as long as you’re selling and the staff turnover is a joke. They employ anyone from all work backgrounds but never real salesmen because they would know how crap this company is. This is a business model that works in the rest of Europe but isn’t working in this country but the directors are clueless on this and believe it to be working. All I heard about was how Verisure are the “2nd biggest monitoring alarm company” behind adt and they’ll be number 1 very soon. The only thing is that adt have options, can cater for all sizes of homes and businesses and are very much a better price. The complete opposite of Verisure!! They promise you a company car and mobile phone but only after 3 months and excellent commission but they don’t tell you that you have to sell so many alarms before you hit your trigger to start earning so you’ll be on minimum wage. With this minimum wage, you have to travel around a lot, usually to towns and villages to cold call businesses which is repetitive and unmotivating after hearing no 99% of the time. They also tell you at the interview that you only cold call when it’s quiet but that’s a lie. You’ll get maybe 1 warm lead a week but it’s not exactly warm because the customer has no idea what they are in for at their appointment because there is no information on their website because it’s all a big con. I spent all of my savings whilst wasting my time working for Verisure because my area covered from littlehampton, all the way across to Margate, up-to south London and everything else in-between. You’ll have about 3 “meetings” a week which are in no way constructive and just sitting around chatting for an hour and then off you go, out to waste your time and money.

Pros

Work on your own starting at 10 and finishing 8 or 9. Branch manger is probably the only genuine person in the whole company

Cons

Before I get into this do not be fooled by the latest influx of Amazing reviews. Due to the bad and honest reviews the company asked everyone to write a good one to get the star rating up. False commission, you basically get whatever is higher. You have a trigger of £1200, If you do £1199 in commission you lose that and just get paid your £1200 basic. If you did £1201 of commission you lose your £1200 basic and get paid just your £1201 commission. So basically your first £1200 of sales is paid to you as £0. Unrealistic pricing is next. £51 a month for a home and £61.20 for a business. Yes we are offering more of a service but in today's climate with everything on the rise and wages staying the same for most it just isn't affordable. You will probably fine in a week 1 or 2 deals out of speaking to 400. Constantly changing offers and it makes you look and feel stupid and unprofessional. Offer of £299 until the 10th. So you tell everyone this, then on the 11th it's been extended to the 20th, then on the 21st guess what, extended for the month. Team leader look after number 1. No support or guidance. You could be struggling on 0 sales and they will be on 5 and still out selling for themselves. No management experience at all. On average you probably drive around 500 miles a week. And you get a whopping £20 per sale. So after all them miles if you finished the month you'll get paid your £1200 + £40 for fuel. Can you pay all your bills and food and 500 miles a week fuel on £1240. Think about that before you apply.
