Pros

- Sellable product - amazing demo kit - Brilliant video booklet that helps close sales - Smart looing uniform - Good banter

Cons

- PENALISATIONS FOR NEARLY EVERYTHING: Low sales conversion - Penalisation. Customer cancels before 6 months - Penalisation. Failure to hit targets -Penalisation. - Endless EMPTY PROMISES from TEAM LEADERS, MANAGERS and HIGHER UPS. - DISORGANISATION from top to bottom: UNPAID COMMISSIONS, Poor communication with Telesales (who repeatedly arrange unwanted or already cancelled warm appointments. - UNSKILLED TEAM LEADERS that fob off Newbies onto whoever they can. Just good sellers with no leadership skills at all. - COWBOY SALES MENTALITY: Pressuring sellers to harrass customers, forcing the sales to collapse. Then blaming the seller for having no sales. - UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS: Verisure expect sellers to compete with colleagues who have cultivated their client base over years. - POOR TRAINING: After the initial 3 Day training course, help is near enough non existent. - NEGLECT: Newbies are dumped on whoever, often having their time wasted being a mascot for a Team leader who 'can't be bothered to knock today'. Newbies will feel pressurised to lie, inevitably leading to their own downfall when no sales are produced. - TOLD TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS AND HIDE KEY INFORMATION: Told not to tell customers that ZEROVISION SMELLS LIKE BURNT WOOD and that it can't damage furniture, despite warning sellers that it can MELT YOUR FACE. - INSTALLATIONS DRAIN TIME AND SALES VALUE: If you're lucky, an installation will take 2-3 hours. However, it was usually 5-6 hours. - HR ARE USELESS: Notorious for poor spelling and MAJOR CLERICAL ERRORS, such as inaccurate dates and times. - POINTLESS MORNING TEAM MEETINGS: Managers will waste valuable times with meetings that demoralise sellers who have to watch underperformers get grilled for an hour. - PRESSURISED TO WORK WEEKENDS: Managers will guilt trip you for not working on weekends and not acknowledge the efforts made when you are sick from burn out. - COMPANY CAR ISSUES: After waiting longer than promised for the company car, Verisure will find a way to charge you for everything. Parking tickets that could be appealed earlier will not (due to their Admin system), and any errors made by the company will be the problem of the seller. -STOLEN SALES: Team leaders and sellers have stolen sales from newbies and junior consultants. - 99% MALE ENVIRONMENT I could continue, but the bottom line is: VERISURE ARE JUST A BUNCH OF COWBOYS WITH GREAT MARKETING PRESENCE.
