Pros

You get what you put in at the company. Lots of opportunity to learn and develop your skills. Good employees have leeway with management typically. Good benefits.

Cons

Pay is abysmal for tech employees, especially in engineering. Everyone is on the same pay structure, from those managing mechanics to full time software developers. Discouraging atmosphere, lots of staff do bare minimum to nothing in corporate environment, no reprimanding, no firing; meanwhile others pick up the slack and make the same salary. No career development whatsoever, it’s who you know, what flavor of the week they are focused on, and how you appear that moves you up. Lots of quiet quitting these days as talent flocks away.
