Pros

Engineering Excellence: Thoughtworks remains one of the best places to master Agile methodologies, TDD, and clean code. Working here means learning from industry leaders who literally wrote the books on modern software development. Inclusive Culture: The commitment to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) isn't just corporate speak; it’s woven into the daily fabric. You feel empowered to bring your authentic self to work every day. Social Impact: It’s one of the few global consultancies that genuinely prioritizes social change. Getting involved in purpose-led projects provides a sense of fulfillment that is hard to find elsewhere in tech. Continuous Learning: Between the "First Year Experience" for new joiners, unlimited Udemy access, and a generous personal development budget, the support for upskilling is unmatched. Autonomy and Trust: The "Cultivation" culture encourages flat hierarchies. You are trusted to make decisions, and your voice is heard regardless of your title or tenure.

Cons

Consulting Variability: As with any consultancy, your experience—and your work-life balance—can heavily depend on your current client and project. Some projects may require more "crunch" time than others. Bench Anxiety: During market shifts, being "on the bench" (between projects) can feel a bit isolating, though the company usually encourages using this time for internal contributions and learning. Complex Internal Processes: Because the company values consensus and distributed leadership, internal decision-making can sometimes feel slower or more complex than in a traditional top-down organization.

Pros

Thoughtworks has been known for maintining good amount of inclusion activities and creating safe environment for its employees. Employee feel safe to talk about anything in different forums.

Cons

A few policies are chaging rapidly and culture started diluting from employee centric to business profit centric culture. Emplyees often feekl underpaid and had to wait for a long time to get pay parity corrected (especially in case of promotion approval).
