Pros

T-Mobile has great benefits and above average pay for Springfield, Missouri. You may dress pretty much any way you want which becomes rather sickening when people wear their pajamas and such. It's a very unprofessional atmosphere, but a good place to work if you don't like to look nice every day.

Cons

Many of the team leaders and members of management have poor grammer and act unprofessional. It's hard not to just laugh out loud at some of the yokels in management positions. Customer Care Reps have to hurry through calls to keep call handling times low so customers get unsatisfactory service and have to call back in. Working there was an overall nightmare.

Pros

Compensation plan for reps and managers is pretty good, though base salary is a bit on the lower side. Good opportunity for a hard worker to get ahead. Varied and accessable training.

Cons

Compensation plans and senior management change frequently. Training is a bit sophmoric. Business model is not well established.

Pros

Opportunity to work for a wireless company and the reach that comes from working for a global telecom. Presents a great environment and a family-friendly, "fun" atmosphere that matches the ad campaigns and signage in retail stores. A friendly place to be and not hard to stick around. T-Mobile does a nice job ensuring that workers are fairly compensated and that there are adequate numbers of team members to do the job available. In addition, the company has a progressive community support program and makes and effort to participate in the communities it serves. T-Mobile is a good corporate citizen.

Cons

Some of the very values used to promote individuality and success at T-Mobile are also used to enforce conformity and small-mindedness at the same company. It can be very hard to succeed when it becomes evident that the "friendliness" is not actually a vehicle for success. There is too much bureaucracy for the size of the company, and it's often difficult to determine how to get a project funded or move anything forward. T-Mobile is a very political place, which is a benefit when you are in favor and a severe career-limiting factor when you are not in favor. Lastly, the performance management process is flat-out broken, with the value of "blue chips" changing from department to department and from quarter to quarter. The place is not built for the future, but for next week.
