Good company and helpful company

Overall poor company’s financial performance leading to cutbacks and employee frustration On-going turmoil at Swedish headquarters (including high turnover at the company’s top) Long-term staff frequently refers to Sandvik as a global organization when in fact Canadian operations are run like a small privately-owned business, i.e. in a secretive and unprofessional manner Company lacks properly documented procedures and uses antiquated software HR department is very weak and hostile and provides no support to employees Management staff is rather mediocre, inexperienced, ignorant and eager to violate company code of conduct Lack of any mentoring which leads to low employee morale Mean corporate culture (covered under fake smiles)
