Still market leaders in CRM systems, with the strongest positioning and branding among competitors. The companies has always been characterised by strong values that made it the fastest growing B2B software company in the world. Competitive salaries.

Cons

After being assaulted by hedge funds, Salesforce is committed to improving margins by pursuing cost cutting quick wins (layoffs). This happened after a fiscal year with strong growth and the highest free cash flow in history. There is a lot of confusion about talent management, layoffs, policies, and this is causing stress and burn out among employees. I expect talent will flee from it as soon as the job market allows it. The focus on short term margins will likely harm longer term relevance and market leadership. CEOs should worry about being relevant in the long terms, speculative investors want a quick and high ROI. The company is run by speculative investors.
