Pros
There are many reasons for which I believe a working experience at PwC Advisory (Consulting) is definitely worth the required effort. In about just a couple of months I got to work on several different projects for clients operating in the most diverse industries. Most co-workers are highly competent and skilled at what they do. As a consequence, new-joiners have a good opportunity to fill the gap and get up to speed quite quickly. As long as you deliver, managers are hardly going to micromanage their employees, meaning that the working environment is, all in all, very flexible. The PwC brand always looks good on your CV.
Cons
You end up working long long hours many days/week and the salary is not adjusted accordingly. Career path seems to be considerably slower and more difficult (less performance-related) than in boutiques or tier1, tier 2 consulting firms.
