One area that could be improved is communication at times, particularly around changes to processes or scheduling, as clearer updates can help engineers plan their days more efficiently.
Travel time between jobs can also sometimes be challenging, especially when appointments are spread out or further apart. Factoring travel time more consistently into scheduling would help engineers manage their day more effectively and reduce unnecessary pressure.
There can also occasionally be challenges with workload planning and logistics, but overall I’ve found that colleagues and managers are supportive when these issues arise. My overall experience has still been very positive.
