Pros

Yearly bonus Potential to upskill COL yearly payrise Potential for overtime Company van and tools

Cons

Can be overloaded with work as the office sometimes doesnt understand how long things take Office can overpromise then the engineer will turn up on site and have to let the customer down as it might be against company policy Could be paid a bit more as some parts of the business such as ASHP electricians earn around £5k more than EV electricans even though they do the same if not less amount than us There is a points system where the more points you earn a day the more bonus' you can earn, however the bonus to earn to make it worth while is almost impossible to earn

Pros

2 days a week wfh

Cons

They state you get unlimited holiday, you do not you only get an extra 2/3 days. You get made to work late every week for free. You only get 23 days holiday. They expect you to work constantly throughout the day and are heavy on stats and you have to let them know if you wish to leave the desk or use the bathroom and are tracked for any time left at the desk. It’s very heavy on the phones and is basically a call centre every day. I was told very different in my interview with octopus.

Pros

Sometimes managements gaslighting is comical.

Cons

Pay, workload, communication, culture, profit over safety, customer service and quality. Wellbeing is a serious concern as the company had pushed a swath of its field employees into sickness costing millions. Instead of considering the underlying issues it promotes its treatment offerings - both causing and solving the "problem" leaving employees trapped drowning in the middle.
