      Hectic but rewarding

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity to make a difference and make changes to make things better. We're given authority to do what's right for the customer and the time to have proper conversations when people need some real help.

      Cons

      Very busy, lots of change, quite emotionally demanding with talking to vulnerable customers who can't afford their bills.

      No HR Management picked out of a hat No consistency No progression Situations are handled incorrectly as the management are still very young and aren’t provided with the correct training or experience. Pay is minimal They have made many false promises for people to be paid equal to what they bring to the team, this was announced October 2021 to be brought out in January 2022, by August 2022 it still wasn’t a thing nor were we allowed to discuss it. People are not allowed to have a set desk, they are moved between floors to make it look “ busier”. Management task such as Rotas are put on other members of staff, which causes stress to have to act like a manager without a manager salary.

      Pros

      Naomi was a great guide throughout the application process and was always available if I needed to ask any questions. The whole process is quite long but it was a great and fun experience that I learnt a lot from and helped improve my interview skills in general. Throughout the process I've also had to research the company quite a bit, so now I know what to expect from the company's culture and the mission the company aims to achieve. Everyone is so lovely, welcoming and very easy to chat to. The discovery day was good fun and it was a creative way of getting to know other employees.

      Cons

      This wasn't an issue for me but I can imagine organising some of the interviews and calls could be quite difficult depending on your schedule.
