- Amazing people, everyone is very good at their job but doesn't take themselves too seriously - Great work and mission, so much enthusiasm and speed in delivering useful, market leading and green products to customers - Fantastic CEO (and snr. mgmt.) who are surprisingly transparent with the whole org. - 'Flat' feel to the hierarchy internally, everyone is willing to get stuck in and find time to talk - Strong sense of trust and ownership, you're given a lot of latitude to lead projects and develop new product ideas right from the get-go - Phenomenal culture, you feel proud and supported working here
Cons
Octopus has obviously worked hard to keep a 'start-up' feeling internally as it's grown, with everything that can come with that - including sometimes a lack of clear process and communication. I drastically prefer this to the bureaucracy large firms can slip into, but the speed and 'figure it out as you go' style won't be for everyone
