Pros

I did learn some valuable skills when it comes to working with cashier OS and basic retail store work

Cons

Worked at Tezenis. Long working hours. I was a part time and I’d end up working overtime most of the time. Extra hours only pay out after the third hour on each day so you’d work for free for those hours. Employees would trial for 3 months and after that they were either fired or made effective, but effective doesn’t mean anything - saw many effective teammates getting fired with “settled agreements”. Management was all over the place, whenever regional managers would come to visit you couldn’t feel human warmth, it was more like a fear culture. Would get my schedules of the week done one or two days before it started so I couldn’t even have a personal life outside of there cause I never knew when I would be working or if the schedule would be changed again. Would get texts from my superior at night asking me to work at 7am on the next day when I was supposed to enter at 9 or 10am. If I denied, nobody would fire me for that but they would treat me differently. My manager would decide for me when I had vacations, unbelievable. It was great to have an experience but I would never make a career here.

Pros

You meet nice people. Free uniform.

Cons

Unfortunately this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Never work for Italian companies, their style of management is the worst. You can only succeed if you are daughter, sibling or friend of someone in the company and you will only grow within the company if you are “well seen” and you basically need to say yes to everything no matter what. At the first thing you say no they will decide you’re not good enough. No meritocracy just recommendation through people. Salary is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of things they expect us to do. Perform very heavy customer service to the point customers leave annoyed, no commissions of course, however if we don’t sell enough, management will say we are not doing our job and mess around. Everyone is anxious to send reports and how much we made during the day because the feedback is always negative. There’s no incentive, no encouragement just point fingers and blame each other. Probably that’s why this company is so understaffed and you need to go around London to every single store to cover shifts. They perform psychological abuse, putting all this pressure on you while half of the people working there is just studying for another job. No one really care about this job but they stress you to the point you need to quit. So many notice, so many people and yet the company refuse to admit there’s something wrong. In all the stores I’ve been people always talked badly about the company and their management. A company that fails to protect mental health of people is no company at all. That’s why everyone has the same bad experience and that’s why so many bad reviews. That place is rotten and will keep being so.

Pros

Nothing they suck. Unprofessional abusing

Cons

They hired people with no experience in management or without any knowledge of labor laws to take advantage of them.
