1. low payment and no extra contribution 2. terrible work conditions ( all doors are open even it it’s minus outside and the heating system doesn’t work so the temperature is minus inside the shop as well) 3. products are low and bad quality compare to prices and you need to lie to customers about it 4. disgusting and really old fashioned style uniform which you have to wear even if it’s not your size (they only have S, M and L) 5. managers (all italian) they try to lead the shop like they were still in italy... really annoying 6. discrimination if you’re not italian 7. they treat you as you worth less a lot of times 8. managers lie a lot to your face

I worked at Calzedonia (Tezenis branch) store in central London. It was the worst experience of my whole life. No work ethics, rude management, threats, favoritism, lies, cliques between the Italian employees, crude behaviors to the non Italian employees, dirty, rusty and dusty working environment, the lowest salary you can get in London, supervisors who were trash talking all the time...and the list can be 10 pages. 2-3 employees quit the store every week. The team was changing continuously because no one could suffer the management's behaviour. To whomever out there who respect themselves please stay away from this dreadful company. There is absolutely no reason to work for them. They do not value and disrespect their people, they threaten their employees, they lie about everything. You ll sure find something much better if you want to work in retail.
