Pros

Nothing apart from the new office location and some of the new joiners

Cons

The problem NTT DATA face in the UK is the inability to accept they are a very low margin IT bodyshop. Most of the junior "consultants" are in IT project management or PMO related activities. As a bodyshop the margins are so low the UK barely makes any profit. There was an endless discussion about soft drinks and coke in the kitchen. The cost was estimated at £50k which meant we had to sell over £1.5million in new business! Profit margins less than 4%, no money to invest in staff, IP point squarely to a low end bodyshop and glorified staffing agency. As other posts have said, ignore the hype about "being a startup" or "Japanese innovation" - that is true but not in the UK. A complete illusion where all the good people do their 1 to 2 years and leave.

Pros

No one knows who NTT DATA is in the UK. Very helpful when you are interviewing to leave as people dont realise how poor the UK company is.

Cons

As others have rightly mentioned this is not a place for management consulting or business consulting let alone 'strategy consulting'. The other review trying to claim we compete (and beat) McKinsey is telling. Half the business consulting commmunity shakes their head in disbelief at the review...the other half believe it whilst sitting in their body shop role looking at change management or some other IT low end technology 'consulting'. The UK business tries to portray itself as a 'start-up' or an 'innovator'...it's all not make believe. The mjaority of the consultants are body shop or doing really basis IT stuff. If this is the work you want to do at least go to Accenture and get a better brand. If you want to become a management consultant do not come here.

Pros

Work from home. Independence to determine how best to do your job.

Cons

Poor management, indecisiveness, bad compensation plan. No real plan on how best to compete with other SI's in this cloud, application-centric world we now live in. We are also so inept at the basic blocking and tackling things any SI should be good at - ease of which to do business with, turning around accurate quotes, timely processing of orders and accurately invoicing our clients. We don't do any of this well at all and our clients are firing DD as a result.
