Top-down management. Hectic, fast-paced environment. Many people try bootlicking to go up instead of focusing on performing well and actually solving problems. Managers favor people who bootlick as well.

Good salary base, with benefits such as in-house clinic, subsidised canteen food, $700 budget to cover specs and medical bills. Helpful colleagues who are willing to guide you, it is a nice working environment.

Cons

Slow career progression. Problem solving is no longer using technical knowledge rather than debating across department. Nepotism is here too.
