Pros

Very good culture and good benefits within the company when compared to other semiconductor companies. Colleagues and office vibe are relatively helpful and cheerful, you can find good energy to reciprocate with. WFH is less as CEO prefers face to face interaction. Pay is relatively high when hired, but growth is very linear and trajectory. Opportunity for expense-covered business trip if you work with people from other countries. Company encourages lifelong learning by providing some subsidiary for courses and certificates. Interest groups that support your hobby within the company, such as badminton, yoga, gym, basketball, pickleball, dragon boat, etc. The company focuses more on DRAM and HBM as they contribute to 75% of total revenue. Additional benefits depend on your project's profitability. Works are closely relevant to the latest technologies in the world. Memory industry happens to be in a good spot in the new AI era. Overall a really good semiconductor company, very good for people who strive a fast pace environment with less eager competitiveness. A tip is to negotiate for higher pay upon entry, as managers can't really help with the increment after that.

Cons

Growth is very linear and trajectory. The biggest factor affecting your growth is time in company, only then followed by contribution. Managers look at your time in company first before your contribution when considering promotion. Although top contributors don't get promoted like rocket, they get other type of remuneration such as RSUs or small one-off cash reward. It's a big corporate so managers and directors don't really have a say in your pay and promotion, they are under control in a rigid framework just like you. Your bonus solely depends on company's performance, which is cyclical and predictable.
