      Future outlook seems questionable.

      Pros

      Vacation and benefits are good. Good for a person just out of college or looking to change their career path.

      Cons

      80's Management. Employees do not have a voice. Manpower does not empower Middle Management. The philosophy is if you are a good employee you will be a good Manager which is completely different skill set. It is not uncommon for Managers to repeatedly fail to provide a performance review to their staff. The review process is completely subjective no shared goals or objectives across departments. Upper Management is not in touch with the employees and with the retirement of Linda Pelej it is very much a boys club. No reward for being innovative or creative. Very territorial atmosphere and with the continued layoffs the environment has become oppressive.

      Pros

      The headquarters building in downtown Milwaukee is a nice place to work. Great camaraderie with co-workers...until they started being laid off.

      Cons

      A company starting to spiral...mass layoffs over the last year, particularly in IT (most IT work now in the process of being offshored). Management incapable of articulating its vision. Purchase of COMSYS a mess...systems still not integrated almost two years after merger. It was a good place to work several years ago, but it's sadly a mess now.

      Manpower - A 1st class Phenominal Organization!

      Pros

      I'm a sales executive for Manpower and this organization is amazing! The sales and service teams work closely together which is extremely critical in a service based company and our communication is nothing less than crystal clear. The base pay is STRONG for experienced hunters and the uncapped residual commissions will keep any SE "energized" like the Energizer Bunny! The work-life balance is awesome and we have great senior sales leaders that will continue to make Manpower #1. I've worked a lot of places and sold for several companies and I'm really happy to say that - I am HAPPY! Very strong sales training and the company believes in investing in the tools to help SE's win business.
