1. Zero on boarding, you do not have proper trainings.
2. The “experts” have less than 2-3 years of experience, they lack the knowledge to be called experts, they can’t and don’t want to train the new employees.
3. They don’t have any system for tracking the tasks, it is all “handled” in teams/sometimes in e-mails. They are unable to give a proper description about about the tasks to the new employees but they expect you to be able to do everything even tasks they are not able to describe to you.
4. You have 2 days home office per week, but it is only on paper. They will come up with some fake reasons why you should go to the office.
5. As I mentioned they don’t train you properly, so when you work on a task and you need help then they say you are unable to work independently and it is a problem, but if you don’t ask for help and try to figure it out on your own then they say you are too slow and it is also a problem.
6. They don’t have experienced employees in cybersecurity, because everyone leaves the company or get fired because of some made up reasons.
7. They fired me because according to the “experts” I was too slow, and asked for help and they don’t have time to help me and I did not become and expert in 6-7 months. (I started as a complete beginner with zero experience in cybersecurity). This was the official reason, but after the meeting with the group leader and the department leader, I had an unofficial discussion with me group leader where he admitted that I did nothing wrong, it was not my fault, Magna made a mistake because they need to hire experienced employees not beginners, and that they do not have the proper knowledge to handle cs projects, and basically the projects are a mess, they missed deadlines etc. He did not say it out loud but it sounded like I was only fired because they needed someone to blame for the mistakes they made even before I joined the company.
8. You have to be prepared to only work with Excel.
9. After I left the company, they started to do the same with the guy who started 2-3 months later than me.
10. The management is unprofessional. And also after they fired me they told me that basically the salary they gave me was very low and I should ask more from the next company I will work for. (This was my first job in Austria, I lived in another country before that so I was not aware of the proper salaries here.)
