Pros

getting a free eye exam and a pair of eye wear every year. as well as getting 50% friends and family coupons.

Cons

I worked there for 2 years and every week I worked 37+ hours since the day I was hired yet I was never able to enjoy full time benefits or add up any paid time off as I was considered a part timer but working full time status. I was the top sales person in the whole region (I know this because of the reports that came in every few weeks or so) and getting paid only 9.27 an hour. having to do 2 or 3 pretest back to back because of being understaffed since they needed to cut hours.

Benefits were very good, and accumulated alot of paid time off.

Cons

Hours cuts made it very difficult to run the store effectively. Although sales are always important to run a business, the human side is equally important. I went from being a valued associate to being a replaceable has been. Management only want to hire unqualified , lower paid managers..Truly sad what this company has become, after a glorious run for many years. Leaders of the company better wake up and hire qualified managers and opticians before it's too late!!

Pros

I do not have to work outside in the rain. Upper management only visits once in a while. I am learning what not to do to be successful.

Cons

Unrealistic goals with no tools to attain them. All they care about is increasing their profit over last year. They are trying to downsize and continue to grow at the same time.
