Pros

LensCrafters does promote and often reward ambition. The environment is very team oriented and reasonably competitive. Starting pay is also quite competitive.

Cons

Recently the company is in the midst of a cultural rollout which demands a unified perspective of how to lead think and act.

Pros

Great as a part time worker (they are very flexible with scheduling) Pay is decent, considering no optical background is required or needed for most positions

Cons

Upper management is out of touch with store level operations They also tend to hire outside candidates instead of promoting within. This causes bad store morale and wasted time on training "new" managers about optics since most of them hired have no background the the field Too much micro-managing
