I love my job and the optical field, helping people see. We have nice stores with an ok selection of frames.

Pros

On the job training and a wonderful store manager and retail manager. The gift of sight program is a great for people that can not afford glasses.

Cons

The goals and some of the things LC wants us to sell like the EPP and sunglasses are set to high.. Some people just don't want the EPP or sunglasses I feel like I am going to loose my job if I don't "hard" sell..

Great Associates with a sense of real team work. An awesome atmosphere to surround your self with. And the pay is deserving, if you work for it.

Cons

If your not paying attention to what you are doing, then you can royally mess someones glasses up and have to start all over. I love this job, I have nothing bad to say about it!

flexible schedule, decent benefits and PTO, structured responsibilities, co workers easy to get along with,

Cons

full time does not necessarily mean 40 hours a week, schedule is usually not posted 2 weeks in advance (sometime not even one week in advance), attempts to communicate with upper management often falls on deaf ears
