Excellent opportunities to learn about the industry and communication skills, meet people from a wide variety of social and economic backgrounds, good staff at my office.

Cons

Decreasing compensation every year, diminishing returns for increasing quality of work, corporate doesn't care much about their associates though they are the backbone of the company. If you are putting in a lot of work and exceeding your own goals but your team isn't, pay decreases substantially.

A career you can be proud of. Much room for advancement opportunities. Giving the gift of sight is a very rewarding experience. Opportunities for bonuses as well as commission.

Cons

Must comply with mall hours such as nights and weekends. If you are Lab Manager, you may have to take a lot of calls at home due to employees needing help with equipment issues, or manufacturing issues. May need to come in on days off to fix equipment.
