Pros

Years ago you used to get really good discounts on glasses including lenses for you and your family. Annual “freebie” glasses were a nice touch.

Cons

Corporate decisions made no sense to those working with the customers. Stressful but very much like any customer service jobs. The nice perks like getting friends and families good deals on glasses including lenses have disappeared. So nothing differentiates it from any other customer service jobs.

Pay is above traditional retail management. Tuition reimbursement

Cons

No boundaries when it comes to employee personal life, families, etc. corporate partners/highest level leaders lack product knowledge. Will have teams create schedules and throw enormous tasks on manager’s only available days off, constant texting on personal devices with no regard for employees personal time.
