Pros
base pay is good. you get commission if the store sales goals are met. its one big pie and everyone gets a piece. you also get doctor spiffs from selling add ons from the dr's side.
Cons
too much drama. the whole team has had issues with one associate and only because they were selling alot issues were not met from management until it escalated to an extreme point. and even them not much change. too much stress to sell add ons to customers. sales goals have to be met or your hours are cut. wrong people in management. alot of empty promises of moving you up...never happens no matter how hard you work.. you're better off getting a job at a private optometry and theres no stress. better pay too. alot of associates start at lc and then get a real optician job.
