Pros
Depending on where you land in the company, potential for great work/life balance. Lenovo just started summer hrs which means work from home on Friday afternoon, and no meetings allowed. Bonuses were great this year, but that's an exception in this industry.
Cons
No promotions for US employees, regardless of how well you perform. All non-management employees I know in 25-40 age group are unhappy, in all functions, so it's not limited to Procurement. No career opportunities, although there is a lot of talk of talent & retention. Most employees are hit with a difficult schedule of late evening and early morning calls to work with China.Oh, yes, another thing: Lenovo went through inflation of titles.
