Pros

Working in KPMG you can learn and improve your skills but it depends on the business unit where you will work.

Cons

Salary is not good. If you work in a strategy unit of KPMG you will be a strategic consultant (working hard and a lot) without benefits of a strategic consultant.

Pros

- Great chance to follow a lot of different projects, learning fast and improving your CV - Managers are highly qualified and really available in supporting you in developing new skills - Even during the 2008-2009 crisis no one was discharged - Senior consultants are given a healthcare insurance

Cons

HR management highly improvable: - few team building opportunities - really low salary compared with public commpanies - overtime is not directly paid (but bonuses are provided at year end) - Company car is provided but you are requested to pay around 150-180 € per month - Some time you will be required to work from 10-14 hours a day for a long period (1-3 months) or to work during week-ends - no international training opportunities. Internal training is not so good (the average duration of a course is 1 day) - few opportunities of having an international experience working for other international KPMG entities - meal tickets are not provided and a cafeteria service is not available

Pros

It's a great international company!!! I'm in the IT Advisory area and the knowledge u can find here is a lot... Good Seniority and perspective of grow as fast as u want. Sometimes u are assigned to the same project for long time, but asking to change is not unusefull. Managers give u the right importance as your experience go up. They give a lot of attention to your growing, organizing many lessons about business cases, best practices, several kind of skills (IT and other) giving u the opportunity of learning and undestanding what other business lines do. And paying for u a lot of different courses u couldn't afford by yourself, getting international certification (ISO and more...). After some months of experience here, u can spend it in other companies without any problem.

Cons

Low salary when u start working for them, compared to the rest of Europe. No tickets for lunch.
